Initially, the room I was given was poorly decorated with peeling wallpaper and exposed plumbing behind curtains, overlooking a busy street and facing a loud bar. However, the hotel eventually offered me a better room and even included breakfast. The service was a bit pushy as they came to my room to rush my check-out due to a discounted rate, but overall, they were helpful, friendly, and provided good recommendations for exploring Florence. The location was very convenient, only a short walk from the train station. The dining experience wasn't outstanding but was acceptable for the price paid.
